I started The Glowcery after leaving a high-pressure career as a criminal and human rights lawyer. Burnt out, I turned to holistic wellness to feel like myself again, starting with going vegan. As I became more conscious about what I put in my body, I applied the same curiosity to my skincare and was shocked to discover that up to 80% of mainstream products contain ultra-processed ingredients, microplastics, silicones and parabens, harming our skin, wellbeing, and the planet.
That discovery sparked an idea: if food can nourish the body, why couldn’t skincare be just as nutritious? I channelled my passion into The Glowcery, a plant-based, nutrient-dense skincare brand made with cold-pressed fruit and vegetable oils, that prioritises long-term skin health.
